Wapta Icefield Ski Traverse (Hut-to-Hut)

Experience the ultimate hut-to-hut skiing experience in the Rockies,
with spectacular views, great powder skiing and ski ascents.

The stunning Wapta Icefield is a region of glaciers between Peyto Lake
and wapta Lake, northwest of Lake Louise.

A series of mountain huts, complete with mattresses and stoves,
make it possible to do a variety of traverses across the Icefields.

Prerequisite: Strong, intermediate skiing skills, as every day involves
some challenging skiing.  There is no easy terrain in the Rogers Pass.

Options:
1. 4 days, 3 huts, 1 ski ascent (faster pace)
2. 6 days, 4 huts, 3 ascents (more leisurely)
