In-Line Skating

 
Feel confident in-line skating on Calgary’s pathways this summer. Designed for those who have never in-line skated before, this two-hour course includes the basics of in-line skating. Learn how to outfit yourself with equipment and practice in-line skating skills including balance, basic striding, stopping, and turning with control. All skills are taught outdoors by a qualified instructor at the U of C.

 Class sizes are small to ensure quality of instruction and individual attention in a fun and safe environment. Fee includes all equipment, however for your own comfort, we highly suggest you supply your own. Click HERE for program info and registration.

Note: This is an adult program (18+).

Youth In-Line    Skating   

Does your child want to learn how to in-line skate? Designed for youth from grades six to nine, this course teaches skills such as balance, skating forward, stopping, turning and going down hills with control, and safety. Email: skate@ucalgary.ca
