Outdoor (Rock) Climbing

            Summer 2013 Programming

Forget the plastic and chalk filled gyms this summer and learn the skills to take your passion for climbing outdoors.

We want to transfer over the high quality climbing experience we offer indoors to the natural rock in our backyard, so we have re-imagined our programs and are proud to offer both new and improved courses. Lead by certified ACMG guides and instructors these courses are not only fun and challenging but will get you out in the beautiful settings of Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

Intro Rock Courses
These programs for the first time climber, or for those that have limited indoor experience.  Like our indoor introductory programs they will teach all the basics such as belaying and movement, but they also will address outdoor climbing skills such as rappelling, route finding and risk management.

Advanced Rock Courses
If you have some indoor or outdoor experience and are looking to build on your climbing skill outdoors, these programs are for you!  We have courses that cover everything from lead climbing to Trad climbing and rock rescue - so there should be a course to help you prepare for whatever challenge you are looking at taking on!

Youth Programming
New this season are our youth outdoor programs. Aimed a youth ages 12-17 these programs emphasize safety while letting youth have fun in explore movement and skills on real rock.

Women's Programs
