This new course is suitable for people who have taken the AST 2 course, have at least 50 days in avalanche terrain and want to take their skills to the next level. The curriculum includes collecting, recording and interpreting online data, a structured approach to to forecasting on a remote multi-day trip, collecting field data and human factors management.
