As warmer weather lures snowshoers, skiers and snowmobilers to the mountains, avalanche experts are warning outdoor enthusiasts to take care navigating tricky snow conditions.
Much of the B.C. Interior is under a special avalanche warning, as fresh powder, a weak snowpack and sunny skies combine to create perfect avalanche conditions.
