Canoe Refresher Weekend

This is a great weekend to get the whitewater season started. Come out,
dust off your paddle and practice your river manoeuvres. We also focus
on rescuing and safety so you get some good practice for the paddling
season. Be prepared to get wet—the first day we will be on the Ghost
River to Cochrane and the second day on the Kananaskis. You may choose
to join day one only if you cannot do the full weekend. Prerequisite: Module ABC or equivalent. >>Register Now

D: Whitewater Canoeing- The Next Step

Take your canoeing a step further and learn how to read whitewater and
practice the skills needed to manoeuvre your canoe through rapids on
the Lower Kananaskis River. Prerequisite: ABCs of Canoeing or
equivalent.

Whitewater Canoeing Clinic

Challenge yourself on this two-day clinic on either the Kananaskis
River or the Upper Red Deer River. These are some of the best
whitewater rivers around! This will push your skills, so you must
already be comfortable on the water and have a good grasp of eddy turns
and ferries. Prerequisite: Module ABC or equivalent.

Advanced Canoe Skills

June Whitewater Hunt

Join us on a whitewater hunt! We will pick an area that has good water
levels and we will spend a few days exploring and running new stretches
of river. The possible areas will be north of Nordegg, south of Calgary
or further south in the Pincher Creek area. We will be car camping and
you will be required to supply your own food. You may join in a solo or
