The driving force behind the success of the Outdoor Centre has been our passionate coordinators who have developed quality programs based on their expertise and a commitment to introducing individuals to outdoor pursuits. The majority are U of C graduates who are industry leaders and certified professionals and have extensive guiding experience and knowledge.

The Outdoor Centre has the following employment opportunities:

Active Living in the Faculty of Kinesiology is currently seeking a Recurring Part-time Outdoor Centre Winter Staff. This position reports to the Outdoor Centre Customer Service Supervisor.

The Outdoor Centre Attendant processes a portion of a high volume of transactions, including registrations, rental orders, climbing facility entries, service contracts, retail sales, telephone inquiries and personal contacts. Shifts range from 3-7.5 hours per day, 3 days/week.

Essentials:

• Commitment to superior customer service
• Experience in fast paced work environments
• Self motivated
• Available to work a minimum of 3 full weekend shifts per month
• Available to work over Christmas break

Desirables:

• Engagement in Winter and Summer outdoor activities
