Safety

Climbers, remember you are responsible for your own safety while climbing. Possession of a valid climbing card will not protect you from injury or even death. It is your responsibility to:

• Practice only safe climbing techniques
• Undertake only the forms of climbing for which you have adequate training
• Be alert to your environment at all times
• Use only approved climbing equipment
• Ensure that you equipment is in good condition at all times

 

Please note: The University reserves the right to deny entry to the climbing wall to anyone who fails to climb in a safe and responsible manner.
