Become comfortable with the strokes needed to stabilize, turn, and steer your canoe. Choose either a three-hour course or a full day. Learn how to paddle a solo canoe on the lake and then take it a step further onto the river. Become an efficient paddler, have the confidence to canoe where you want and experience the freedom of going solo! The lake sessions are on the Glenmore and the river section is at the Bowness eddies on the Bow River. Prerequisite: No experience necessary but participants need to take the lake portion before the river portion.
